Let’s talk bags. Growing up, I loved nothing more than designer bags and would use the excuse of birthdays, holidays, etc. as a way to get a new one. Over the year’s, I have accumulated a hefty collection (see below). Although I looove my bags and am so grateful for all of them, I often find myself reaching for my Read More
There are two things I love in this world: decorating and shopping. When I heard that we were getting a Home Goods, my heart nearly stopped. I make a visit at least once a week telling myself “I’m just checking out the deals” when really I’m consciously designing my dream home (that I will, in fact, get one day). Home Goods is one of those places that makes it so difficulty to “just browse”. It’s like every time I go, I fall in love with something that I have to have. So after a month of weekly appearances, here are a few of the items I’ve picked up along the way. And consider this a sneak peek into my new home 🙂
The “Everyday” DeskThe Lady Book / What to Wear / Business Cards
This desk brings back some major memories to a younger version of myself painting her nails on her hot pink Limited 2 lap desk. It is such a great and versatile piece that I would have been crazy not to buy. And a steal for only $17!
The Blanket Basket
A cozy home means fuzzy blankets everywhere! But its unrealistic to use all of these blankets at the same time and definitely a no-no to have them sprung out all over. That is why they make these adorable baskets that sit pretty on the side of your couch. This one is by Devi Designs and it was $15.
The Tin Can

My mom and I were admiring it when another lady came up and was telling us how much her girls would love this trash can. Sorry lady but your little girls won’t appreciate this as much as two college girls who’s days are made when getting to use this teal can.
Which steal is your favorite?
As I’m in the process of moving, I’ve been cleaning out my
life room piece by piece. I have two huge closets full of clothes. And you know better than anyone that I probably only wear about 65% of it. It’s totally unfair to the great things just sitting there. So, after coming across the app Depop, I’ve gone a little crazy. Read More
Yes, this is my rendition of grunge.
The perfect everyday look is a white tee and black skinnies. I love it because it can be dressed up with nice shoes or down with sneakers. It is such an elastic look that should become a staple when traveling. It is my new go-to favorite. During my time in New Orleans, I dressed up my t-shirt look with a nice necklace and high boots. How will you dress up yours?
