As a fashion girl, I feel as if we are expected to keep up our fashion game on campus. It is hard enough to have to wake up for school, much less make sure you look put together. (You never know who you are going to run in to!) One thing I love about my sorority, is that we are encouraged to skip the Nikes, and try our hardest to look presentable each day. I know this is hard to do, especially when you are use to rolling out of bed, brushing your teeth and jetting. But it takes practice and time. I rarely dress as I did today. My look was a lot more mature than usual and almost a little teacher like. I can’t decide if I liked it but I’m all for a little experimenting. Ever since I started working it’s given me a reason to dress up everyday. And I have to say, I think my outfit game has risen a few levels. I push myself to wear heels everyday because I feel like if I don’t, I won’t be taken seriously so there goes half the effort. I’m also playing a mind game with myself. It’s called: let’s see how long it takes until you have to re-wear the same outfit over again. So far, I think I’m winning.
