Hey friends, I know it’s been a few weeks since I posted but I just wanted to give you a little life update. Aside from Read More
I’m sure I speak for a mass of people when I say Christmas is my favorite holiday. There is something about the excitement in the weeks leading up to Christmas that radiates such pure joy. If I could, I would pull all of the stops for Christmas decor and turn my house into a freaking winter wonderland but with only a few weeks to decorate and a college budget (ha) we had to get creative this Christmas.
My parents surprised my roommates and I with a real Christmas tree at our doorstep Sunday night. We had already planned on putting out our beautiful fake one but didn’t want to miss out on the freshness of the memorable pine scent. So now we have two trees and you can only imagine how freaking excited I am (hint: my second time using the word ‘freaking’).
My roommate, Lizzie, ordered these adorable mini prints from Social Print Studio a while back and I’m so glad we brought them out and stuck them on our tree. We added candy canes for an extra Christmas touch and are all obsessed with how it turned out.
After posting videos of the tree on my Insta Story (@viclynstinson) and receiving such positive feedback, I decided to share the idea with all of you. I hope it inspired a new way to Christmas this holiday season and I’d love to see pictures of your version of our modern Christmas Tree.

I’m not sure if its that time of year or everyone is realizing school is over but everyone is asking me for summer job ideas. It is typical for a college student to use their summer to their advantage. Whether that be working their butt off to afford next years rent. Attending summer classes to get ahead. Or traveling the country. Everyone is trying to soak up every ounce of summer possible. With that being said, it is a tough game Read More
