2018 White Rose Formal

At the end of every school year, my sorority comes together to celebrate all of our hard work with our annual White Rose Formal. It is such a fun tradition that I am so happy to have the opportunity to attend. I’ve blogged about my sorority a few times but haven’t posted about formal since my very first one – freshman year (click to see a glow up). It was fun to compare my very first one to my second to last!

S/o to my friend Taylor for letting me borrow her dress! I always have such a specific vision for events like this and end up waiting too late and not having anything. But this LuLu’s dress was absolutely stunning and I received so many compliments! I decided to keep my hair sleek and casual to balance out all of the detail of my dress. My bomb hairstylist (@daribhair – she is literally the best) used a big barreled curling iron for the base then ran a straightener over it to give me a sleek beach wave look. My roommate Hunter did my makeup flawlessly. I’ve been trying to incorporate more purple/pink tones in my shadow to bring out my hazel eyes (I recently picked up this ColourPop palette and am loving it!). Lots of perks for living with a beauty guru!

This pink gemstone ring was my Dad’s push present to my mom when I was born! It is her birthstone. How special that I get to wear it 20 years later.
