Arkansas has always been at the top of my list of places I wanted to visit. Tanner has been there a handful of times camping and fly fishing. But I wanted to visit mostly because it felt similar to summer in Colorado which is also high on my bucket list. While I am definitely a city girl, I love going out of my comfort zone and spending time in nature. It was great because we stayed in a family ran town with nothing for twenty miles. No cell service. No cable. It was such a refreshing way to spend the weekend. I didn’t get any photos because my phone stayed locked away but luckily Tanner captured some memories. If you ever visit Arkansas (Mena in particular), I definitely recommend visiting the Blue Hole. It’s where all of my pictures are from and although they don’t do it justice, it was surely beautiful.
