Port au Prince, Haiti

Hello all, I’m back and cannot wait another second to share my trip with you. First off, I hope you all had a wonderful Easter celebrating one of life’s biggest blessings. Second, I want to thank Claire, of Creme de la Claire, for the refreshing guest article last week.

As you already know, I went on a mission trip to Haiti last week. I don’t even want to try to describe to you what was so great about it because it is one of those things you have to experience yourself. The culture there was so intriguing and made it feel like more than just a trip of service. We worked alongside the Missionaries of Charity, at the orphanage and home for the sick and dying. If you ever get a chance, look into Mother Theresa’s creation because these women do incredible work. This mission trip was different from my previous ones because we focused our time on connecting with kids and adults. We met them on a respectable level and did as much as we could to make them feel loved and happy. They shared some of the most rewarding smiles one could ever receive. Instead of sharing a million pictures with you, I put together a video. I hope you enjoy it and I hope it brings a little bit of happiness to your day. 🙂
